The PHOENIX Project and the ADOPTION Project proudly shared booth 1007 at ECOC 2025 in Copenhagen and co-hosted a joint session on 30 September.
The session featured expert talks from both projects, presenting cutting-edge advances in photonic integrated circuits (PICs), co-packaged optics, and optical interconnect technologies.
Agenda & Speakers
- Phoenix Project: Ferroelectric photonics enabling novel functionalities and enhanced performance of next generation PICs
Valentín Polo, Senior Innovation Consultant, PNO Innovation Spain - Integrated silicon photonics powered with BTO technology
Stefan Abel, Co-CEO, Lumiphase AG - Exploring optical computing solutions
Optalysys team - ADOPTION Project: Advancing Data Centre and AI Cluster Interconnects with Co-Packaged Optics for High-Efficiency Cloud Computing
Cleitus Antony, Senior Researcher, Tyndall National Institute - Multi-Wavelength Laser Sources for Scaling Datacenter Capacity
Amol Delmade, Senior Engineer, Pilot Photonics - Scaling short-reach optical interconnects relying on Silicon Photonics and advanced 3D assembly technology
